Dr Stephen Shipton completed his undergraduate medical studies at Stellenbosch University, South Africa, his paediatric training in Cape Town, South Africa and the United Kingdom, post graduate Paediatric Cardiology training in Cape Town, South Africa and in London and Interventional Congenital Cardiology fellowship in Glasgow UK.

Dr Shipton consulted paediatric cardiologist at Red Cross Children’s Hospital in Cape Town from 2001 – 2007 and leaded interventionist in Cleveland Clinic in Abu Dhabi from 2007 – 2010. Currently: he consults Paediatric Cardiologist in Princess Margaret Children`s Hospital, Perth WA.

Dr Shipton’s interests include: Echocardiography in congenital heart disease, Percutaneous and hybrid interventional procedures in children, adolescents and adults with congenital heart disease.
